God inspired the name “Unveiled Wife” which means to be transparent and authentic in our relationship with God and with our husbands. My purpose and desire is to help and encourage other wives by sharing my journey in learning to enjoy and appreciate my life as a wife. God gets all the glory! He is the reason our marriage is stronger than ever! Our heart’s prayer is to be vessels of His love being poured out for His namesake. On top of daily encouragement through social media and blogging, we have written books about marriage and faith, we have hosted a marriage retreat and plan to do even more in the coming years. In March 2011 we launched Unveiled Wife and Husband Revolution to share our story in hopes of giving other couples hope for their marriage. I found myself isolated from God and from my husband because of discontentment and anger.Īt the end of year four, God heard our prayers and saved our marriage. Our greatest area of struggle was intimacy, which amplified every other area of marriage. The first 3 years of marriage were physically and emotionally painful. We were best friends, deeply in love, desiring to serve God together. My husband, Aaron, and I got married on January 6th 2007.

This is a great resource to help teenagers purpose their hearts for what God has for their future marriage or anyone else who feels strongly about getting married and cares for the heart of their future spouse. We want to encourage you and your desire for marriage by urging you to pray for your heart and the heart of your future spouse. God also tells us in His Word to present all of our requests to Him (Philippians 4:6). Desiring a counterpart and oneness with another person is built into the deepest and oldest parts of our human nature. In the Garden of Eden, God said that it was not good that man was alone, so He created Eve out of Adam's side (Genesis 2). Marriage is one of the greatest gifts God ever created for mankind, besides His son Jesus.
